Exclamation work truck leafsprings

I have a 1991 f150single cab with the straight six manual, its starting to sag in the rear. instead of buying brand new stock leafsprings and coil that arent going to last all that long i pull a fully loaded dump trailer everywhere. I was curious to see if i could buy leafsprings for an f250 and coils from an f250 same year and find out is thats at all possible and will it return it back to stock height?

Depends if your truck is 2wd or 4x4. 2Wd F150 leafs are 2 1/2" wide. 4x4 F150 and F250's are 3" wide. You'd have to change the spring mounts on the frame too.

No, if your truck is 4x4 you have 3" springs. 250 springs are also 3".
Best thing to do is get some 250 springs, leave your main leaf in place and just use the lower springs out of the 250 packs.
You will need new centering bolts.

I have rear air bags and front f250 coils and it handles very well with a trailer and empty.

I'd just buy new springs. The last ones lasted 25 years.

Question LEAF springs for 95 2wd flare side

My leaf springs are toast. Mechanic said they are discontinued and unable to order. What is my alternative besides scouring every junk yard in northern Arizona for another set? Can I install air bags instead? Cost? What questions do I ask Mechanic re air bags? I do not tow anything. Just my trusty daily driver. HELP

You can get new springs. They might be discontinued from ford, but you can easily get them. With airbags you still have to have your leaf springs.

I just posted something the other day - 2005 f250 leafs look to me to be pretty much the same - probably other ones too.
