I have a 2" leveling kit from amazon that only cost $40. It's an aluminum 2" round block thing that's goes below the coil spring and it comes with stud extenders. After I installed it all you have to do is get an alignment. It looks awesome too!!!!

Do you have a picture of what it looks like with the spacer?

When i was 16 or 17 i bought a set of bolt spring spacers, the ones you crank to expand the spring a little, I managed to get about an inch and a half of lift. It looked nice for about two days before the weight of the truck crushed all four of them. Obviously they are a waste of money so if anyone has even wasted their time looking at them, don't waste your money lol

The spring rate for the 44 is double the 24. My .02

Edit. Most regular cabs came oem with the equivalent of 18 for 4wd and 20 for 2wd.
Sorry to bring up this old thread but from everything I'm reading it seems like everyone goes w/ the 844's. Are you saying to keep more stock ride go w/ the 24? Wouldn't that make the front sag more thus eliminating the lift you are after? Just trying to get everything all figured out before I order the 844's. I don't want my truck to ride worse

Do the lookup I suggested and decided for yourself what will work. The cc824 spring will give the same lift as the cc844 but will provide a better ride. The amount of lift will be about 1 1/2" max and that's due to the makeup of the front end. Without other modified parts up front it won't allow much more than that.

Do the 844 springs work on a 1988 F150 as well? Was going to get the spring spacers but have read to much bad stuff on them and don't want problems and for the price of new springs its a no brainer to get new springs. Also it only brings the front up 1.5" or can it vary depending on truck?

Well I bought the 844 Moog springs and bushings. Haven't installed them yet but I'm waiting on my buddy to have some free time. I think they should work fine on an 88 but don't order them just based off what I said but to me it "should" work. I don't think you'll get much more than 1.5'' from what I've read but that's fine for me. On a side note, these things are HEAVY. I don't know how heavy duty the stockers are but I have lowering springs for my Mustang and they weigh probably half of what these weigh. The box felt like a concrete block was in it. I checked though and it's just springs
