Default Stock Suspension Part??

Hello,

I was changing out the shocks and springs (passenger side) on my 1992 F150 4x4, and I noticed a couple things. One is this metal arm, it looks like it connects to the bolt on the frame, but there is no way it can connect while still staying on the spring, does this belong on this vehicle and can i leave it disconnected? Second, where can I get the rubber bushing that goes under the spring and the white plastic spacer below that? So far, no luck finding it unless i buy a complete kit.

That's for the sway bar. Looks like it's missing.

Have you tried the dealer for the bushing and washer?

Definitely missing the sway bar. Some people remove them for better suspension travel when off roading. Some trucks didn't even have them from the factory. You can run without it, just won't handle as well. If you can, try to make the truck lose control on wet pavement in an empty parking lot so you know what the truck will do if it does lose control. The missing swaybar will most likely make it want to oversteer if it has a rear bar.
