Default Size tire to go with?

Finally this weekend I am lowering the rear on my truck to get it sitting level. But my question is what size tire should I run? I'm going to use my stock wheels. But what size tire should I go with that it fills up the wheel-weld but doesn't look to big or to small.

4x4 33, 2wd 32. 4x4's sit slightly higher than the 2wd so they can fit a bigger tire. I don't have experience with the 33's on 2wd but have heard that they rub and also heard that they don't. I think 12.5 is a little too wide without some sort of lift, something like 32x11.5 is what I'm planning on as soon as I need new tires.

Here are 32x11.5x15 (stock wheels) mud terrain tires on a 2WD with 4" lift in the front, and no lift in the rear.

Just be weary. But I bet a 31" tire would fit real nice on a 2WD with no lift.

That's what I was thinking...once lowered I won't be able to clear 32 or 31 I don't think. I'm not going for a 4wd off-road look more of a street truck daily driver.

What's lowering the rear have to do with fitting 4 tires to the truck? The front of the truck is the tricky part to fit tires. You can fit a pretty big tire to the rear whether its lowered or not.

Ah -- So you're lowering the rear so that the rear sits under the stock height? Do you have a photo with current tires?
