Default Single to dual front shock swap question

Late last year I bought a 1996 F-150 4X4 reg cab short bed f-150 with single front shocks. I need to replace my shocks and shock tower mounts due to some major rust issues. I would like to convert it over to dual shocks up front. I know I can buy dual shocks from any online or brick and mortar auto parts store, and a dual shock shock tower mount from Bronco Graveyard. My only question is where does the base of the forward shock (the one that would sit closest to the front bumper) mount to on a truck with single shock set up? If anyone with dual shocks could post close up pics of the bottom portion of your shock towers and shocks, that would really help me find the answer to my question. Thanks guys!
