Default Shocks

Hey, I"m looking to replace my back shocks. So I'm wondering what are some good shocks for a 1992 f-150 for off-roading and light to moderate hauling as well. Anything under $100 a pop would be great.

Given the mileage (46,000 km), should I look at replacing just the struts or both struts and springs too? Unless there is no choice, I think some manufacturers (like https://www.ridefox.com/product.php?...position=Front) sell only the kits, so there is no choice there.

On F-150, if I change the front struts (for original or not), should I do the wheel alignment?

Thanks!

This thread has been dead for 5 years. And the trucks in this forum don't have struts. Put ALL your truck's details into your signature, and post in the forum that applies to it.
