Shock & Spring Suggestions

One thing I noticed when I put new Monroe Air Shocks on my F-150 yesterday, is the old ones I removed were white, like the ones that are pictured in the photograph. However the new ones I installed were gloss black in color. Also, they changed the fitting set up.
I used my old fittings because they were still in good shape. But I didn't care for the new system of air lines because they employ a Tee fitting to connect both shocks, then you have to run a separate line from it to the Schrader Valve wherever you choose to mount it. That makes for 2 extra connections that really aren't needed. (The fewer connections and lines, the less chance for leaks). The photo that's posted shows the older set up which is no longer available. At least not for the 1991 F-150.
