Default Shock replacement while leveling.

I am planning on leveling my 94 f150 2wd and want to replace the shocks at the same time.

What shocks would you recommend?

I am going to use Moog cc824 springs.

I put MONROE Part # 58275 on the front, coil over/load assist shocks. I also used 824 and love this combo, you get the softer/factory ride of the 824 yet I can still take corners at 20+mph without the truck leaning too bad. I also put MONROE Part # MA771 on the back, they are air adjustable load assist shocks and can be set anywhere between 20-150psi depending on my load.

58275 on the front

MA771 on the rear

Together they were about $100. I would recommend since you are tearing into your front end anyway to repack or replace you inner and outer wheel bearings, consider also swapping out your upper and lower ball joints and maybe even tie-rod ends since you will already need an alignment when you are done. Good time to check pads and rotors as well as your shoes and drums.

I put the CC824's on my '95 along with the KYB monotube KG5440 & KG5441 and the ride is great. Not near as bouncy at the Monroe's that were on it with the stock springs.
