Default Shock Replacement - Staying Stock on 95 4X4

I have been trying to get some info/reviews on shock replacement on my 95 4X4, most all threads discuss options when lifting or leveling. I am staying stock and wanted to see what options others have gotten, truck is basically a street driver and doubtful if that will ever change, so far it seems like the Bilsteins are a pretty good option, anyone use these?

Haven't had any experience with those but Monroe shocks are awesome. They run like 60 bucks a piece and they last forever. The ride is beyond smooth and you won't feel anything in the road. Definitely worth the money.

If you're staying stock why not just go with Motorcraft? I replaced mine a few words back with MC and couldn't be more happy. For them for like $40 each from RockAuto.

overlooked the motorcraft, I wont buy a Monroe or Gabriel, never had any luck. The last bilsteins I bought beat out anything I had used before, being a 4X4 wasn't sure if there was a better option, summit price matched order on the way, 6 shocks for 400 bucks.

Default Monroe Gas Magnums

I threw 4 of these in my 95 f150 truck and they are amazing for the money. Rides smooth as hell. I picked them up on amazon for about $30 each. They are nitrogen gas charged and have an oversized bore. Can't say enough about them.

I've got the Monroe gas magnums on the rear and like them. Haven't done the front yet because I have the quad shock option....

got the new Bilsteins installed, a couple of the old shocks were dead, ton of difference, still a 4X4 ride but the hard slam is gone
