Rear brakes locking up 93 f150
Hi everyone,
For the last week or so I've been having a problem with the rear brakes on my 93 F150 (2WD 302). I was driving along and whenever I pressed the brake pedal my brake light and ABS light came on and stay on until I shut it off. My right rear wheel tightens right up. I jacked her up and could barely turn the wheel, so I just adjusted the shoes by backing them up. All was good then, but then when I was just driving a short while the lights came on again and the pedal would be harder to press than normal, than at other times not. After a few days the same wheel tightened right up again. My old man and I put a new engine in a few weeks ago, and put a new wheel cylinder in on the other side, but the side that is locking up all appears fine. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

I forget the details, but a friends 97 f150 behaved similarly. Problem was, he got a hardware kit for a larger diameter drum size, & a tension cable for the adjuster was too long: resulting in the adjuster going too tight after some time.
I'd check to see your rear brakes are set up right.
