I have a massive break problem. It started with a blown line. I had to replaced a bunch of parts when I got into it. Lines rusted, caliper bleeders busted, etc... I still had no brakes so I opted for a master thinking I blew out the seal while bleeding it. No luck. I had issues bleeding by myself and my vac bleeder was a P.O.S.

I have replaced calipers, lines, and the master. I have no brakes. When I say no, I mean none. Pedal to the floor and idling in D it drives. I took it to a mechanic today. He said he had concerns about come couplings so he replaced one line and bled it and got it to build some pressure. He said you need to pump it up 3 times to get firm then it fades away again. I have not driven it though. He suggested a bad RABS valve. It is literally the only part left.

Does this sound like a RABS issue? He suggested I get a junkyard part and put it in myself. Thoughts?

You can buy a plug (or two, they're different sizes) to fit the master. Plug off the back brakes and then the front brakes to isolate the systems and see if it's out in the lines.
It actually sounds like a problem in the master though. If the air is out of the lines and you build up pressure, then unless it's leaking all over the ground, there is nowhere for the pressure to go (rabs won't do it) except within the master it self. You possibly could have a faulty master.
Did you remember to bench bleed it before installing ?

I figured it out, well after having a 2nd mechanics opinion that is. I put the calipers on the wrong side. That's what I get for rushing the job. I just need to pull it apart and flop sides. Then it should actually bleed right.
