pedal but no rear brake
just replaced 48" section of hard line that runs from halfway back on frame rail to junction plate for flex line that runs to rear axle. have strong pedal and fluid is coming out of bleeders on rear wheel cylinders but cant get any pressure to build in rear! emergency brake locks up and releases fine. even tried bleeding both rear drums at once. cant understand how i'm pushing fluid but cant get any pressure at all. oh yeah duh haha its 1990 f150 swb 2wd 5.0 at that originally belonged to my dad new. it does have some rust issues, he lives at the beach and it sat for a while before i got it. i replaced the front brakes, rotors, bearings, calipers, flex lines and the crossover when i got it. everything was working fine till my neighbor used it and ran over something to cause the leak in the already corroded line i replaced. any ideas? thanks rus

pedal problems
definitely seized up! made that age old mistake of assuming haha. put in two new wheel cylinders and a spring kit. apparently the shoes and drums were recently replaced. the truck has RABS1 rear only abs brakes and with it up on stands the rear brakes act crazy. when you build up speed and press the pedal they dont want to stop and i can feel the controller releasing pressure. at low speed the lock right up, but you have to pump them if you get into 2nd or 3rd gear to get them to stop.
i'm wondering if that's normal or if i also have a bad rear seal in the master? i test drove it and it stops pretty good, but i would feel better knowing that the rears are 100%. any suggestions on how to gauge the performance level of rear only abs?
thanks for the quik response!

Glad you found your problem. I`ve never done that but it seems like the anti-stop is doing what it supposed to do. I think it`s 30 mph or over for it to work...Try it out on a gravel road to test it, under 30 they should lock up.. Hammer down and Happy motorin
