Leveling lit for 96 f150
#13
Well I have encountered a problem.. I installed the 824s today and it didn't level it.. Just lifted front end a little... I do have brush guard but I don't think it would make that big a difference..

Depends on how heavy the brush guard is. Another factor is the engine size, with the 5.8 like mine it's still slightly (0.5-0.75") lower, tack on an extra 50lbs of the brush guard and of course it will be that much lower. Another thing to consider is check your leafs, do they have a helper spring or were they swapped for stiffer ones, or do you have some sort of load assist that is raising the back (load assist shocks, air bags, adjustable air shocks)?
Like it was said before you can still slide some spacers in to give it a little more lift. I also put coil over shock load assisting monroes on in the front to help support the front end weight.
