Brakes go to floor.

The new booster and MC went in last night. I ended up bench bleeding the MC while it was still attached to the Brake Booster outside of the truck and didn't have any issues. I fit it all back up and did several brake checks in the driveway and finally took it out on the road. Brakes feel amazing and like new.
I know I probably could have diagnosed the original issue further but for 70-90 bucks with a 20 dollar core, it was too easy to just replace.
I call it a 3 beer job on a Tuesday after work.

My '95 with a 4.9l just started doing the same thing. I have a '92 parts truck, also with a 4.9 but an auto trans instead of M5. First, would the booster from the '92 work on the '95? And second, the engine in the parts truck is toast. Ho can I tell if the booster still works? I have a vacuum pump and can draw it down. Wait a while for a leak-down test?
