Default Both front brake pads rubbing

Both the drivers and passenger side front brakes are rubbing. I can spin them by hand but it takes a little effort. I noticed my brakes squealing the other day while driving. The noise goes away when I press the brake pedal. I pulled the passenger caliper and checked the slide pins. They are both fine. The master cylinder was replaced last year by the previous owner. I don't think it is the calipers because both sides are rubbing. I'm not sure if the system has been flushed. The brake hoses look but have not been replaced. Any ideas? I don't want to begin replacing good parts.

I'm not sure how much you're talking about, but there's always rubbing. Try spraying the rotors with brake cleaner.

Your calipers might be sticking a bit. Or sometimes the rubber hoses (that look fine) can collapse a little, restricting flow. Not a problem when you step on the pedal with pedal leverage and a booster, but when they try to release it doesn't work as well.

I think I will bleed the brakes and replace the hoses first. It shouldn't cost that much.

Hoses and calipers aren't that much for these trucks. A lot less than for a new one anyway. Hoses might help. Worth a try. You can always do the calipers after if the hoses don't do it.
Just a little extra brake fluid.
