Anyone ever put coil overs in front?
So I'm thinkin about doing away with the stock spring and shocks in the front of my 91 and putting coil over shocks. Pulling the towers out and building some kind of tubular towers. Any help and ideas?

I have to agree with Sean here. Coil overs only really help out on rock-crawlers and performance vehicles. Granted if you're building a rally truck then yeah go ahead, but as far as handling, it would be better to go to the modern control arm suspension.

This is going to be a full out drag truck and I was thinking weight distribution. I'm going with DJM lowering beams in the front which are forged and can be welded on. I know for sure I will be putting coil overs in the rear, so once again weight distribution. A more modern upper and lower sounds good, but scares me! Lot of geometry that u can't mess up

I considered doing this for my bronco but considering the price and effectiveness, it's not worth it. Like said before, either off road racing or rock crawler is the only practical use for coil overs.

Check out a 1990 or older crown Vic, the frame is a similar width, and it has ford motor mounts, a friend of mine grafted one onto a 1977 f100 a few years back.
