Are 35's a hassle on the street?
I'm going a for a second resto on my 91 4x4 Lariat and my dear wife said just go for it this time. So I'm considering 35s over 33s, I found 50 different opinions so I'm just more confused. I only take the truck on the beach rarely and I have to admit the tire size is just to look good. Also I would prefer just leveling springs if I can get away with it. So any real world experience would be helpful. This picture is an old one, not leveled, 32inch tires.

IMO... stay with 33's as 35's are gonna kill your MPG and HP and may be hell on that old truck. I went to 35's on my 08 and wish I had stayed with the 33's I had on it.

Obviously the truck will perform best with the right gearing. There are plenty of online calculators to figure out the optimum gearing for the chosen tire size.

But it'll look really good. So if you have to park way out at the end to find a spot you can turn sharp enough to get in to, you'll be able to admire it all the way across the parking lot.

I daily drive both of my 2003s one with 37X12.50R17 BFG M/Ts and one with 38X15.50R20 Toyo M/Ts. It's all about how much your willing to pay for gas lol. Mine never seen dirt, they stayed cleaner than most corvettes on the road.
