2.5in vs coil springs
I have a 92 f150 2wd and Im trying to chose between a 2.5in lift or just level it. The shocks and coils have never been replaced so I was thinking go with the 2.5 lift kit so I could replace everything at one time. What do you guys think?

It all really depends on what you want in the end. A fully lifted truck to accomodate 33" tires or a levelled truck that can easily take 31's.
The 2.5 lift wouldn't be bad depending on how it actually lifts the truck. Coils up front are good instead of spacers and new shackles or add a leafs in the rear would would be good as well as opposed to blocks. Your truck would still sit with a rake though.

Well I know for sure I don't want to run anything bigger than a 33in tire. Ill most likely run some 31s since I drive the truck everyday. I'm looking at Ranchos 2.5in lift kit and I saw that skyjacker has one too but its a little more. Does anyone else carry a 2.5in lift?

I lifted my 96 2wd just an inch or two and was in need of drop brackets. It was impossible to dial in the negative camber needed even for such a small lift. Don't know if this helps. Thread here: https://www.f150forum.com/f88/knuckl...3/#post4056197
