So, we finished a 1979 Dana 44 SAS on my 1992 f150 about two weeks ago. Went to go get alignment and we need to get shims to adjust it. We're currently waiting on the parts to come in. We're also replacing the upper and lower ball joints for good measure. The thing that sticks out to me is the lower trac bar has a really weird shape to it. Every SAS I've looked at, the lower trac bar was straight as an arrow. Mine is bent, but it doesn't look like it's been struck or bent against anything. I'll link photos as well. Could this be the cause of camber/caster issues for alignment and bumpsteer when in 4x4? I've been at this for months, ever since I lifted the truck. Please help!
