Default 1/2 ton with heavy suspension?

just bought a 1990 f-150 with a 351w. I was looking underneath it and I have never seen suspension like this on a 1/2ton any ideas?

It's got the dual shock option in the front and helper springs in the rear.

You need the dual shock towers and the lower shock mount for the second shock.

So find the towers at a junk yard and how would I put the lower mount on? Bolt on, welding, etc?

The single shock axles are already equipped? Minus the tower I guess. Cool. That'll be a simple upgrade.

No, you need to pull the spring to get the bracket.
