Default wont start

Hey guys Workin on a buddies truck an it wont start I check spark an theres no spark but theres power goin to the coil so we changed the coil an still Nothin no spark truck just turns over anyone have any ideas ???

Check the other terminal on the coil with a test light or meter and see if its pulsing on and off when the engine is cranking. If it isn't pulsing I would pull the codes from the computer. The problem could be in the PIP, ICM, bad ground, or the ECM. Don't replace any part until you test it and beware of after market parts quality.

thanks alot man i actually baught the truck from my friend an i just checked this today an i already baught a new distrib an it still wont start so im going to try the things u said thanks agen

Sometimes it's cheaper to take it to a shop than to start throwing parts at it.

Hey, actually you might find this a little bit laughable, but a couple weekends ago, i went to a beach trip, had a few a beers , at like 1am wanted to go get more beer and OH! surprise my truck just didnt want me to keep drinking. The dvd, lights everything worked but i couldnt get the coil to start or make any sound... due to my high alcohol level i decided to just towed and figure ir out next morning. Tried everything... Gues what a simple fuse 20v was the solution. It looks like the alarm went on and some how burned the fuse, i changed the fuse removed the alarm completly and there you go.... i could come safe to my house. I own a 2010 f150
