So I guess you don't know how to test the tps then?

I wanted information on how to verify that the tps was in fact faulty before installing a new one because if I installed the new one and it doesn't fix the problem then I can not return it and get my money back

if you have no useful information why continue to comment?

Go through threads started by me and look for 'testing the tps'. You should only have to do the signal test.
