Default What does mildly built mean?

When someone says they have a mildly built engine, what does that mean? What's all been done to it?

Hard to say really. Could mean a fully built motor that was built on the tame side as far as compression ratio, and no real head work or swapped cams etc.

Sometimes I've heard people say they have a mildly built motor when all they have is an aftermarket TB and CAI.

There is no hard and fast rule if someone tells you and you want to know your going to have to ask them for specifics.

What he says. Not set definition for stuff like that.

When people ask what I have done to my truck, I tell them all basic bolton stuff...IE everything done besides tearing into the engine itself. But to some folks, that means just an CAI and catback.
