Default Timing gears

Greetings everyone,
Got a cracked timing cover so going to replace it. Figured I would do the chain also but look at the current chain and tell me if you think it is factory original or not. It does have about 3/4" slack in it so going to change it regardless but this current set thats in there does not seem factory..

looks like a factory chain to me...

It's a factory installed silent chain. Replace with double roller chain. They're noisy, but, they last forever.

Ok, thanks Cold..good to know. I did install a double roller and she purrs like a kitten..
