I have a f150 96 it came with 5.0 L (302) v8 y change this old engine for a 5.8 L . I rebuild this engine with every thing new (enginetech master kit)
I have to change de harmonic balancer? i took the h. balancer of the old 302.
this engine use efi sistema and i keep it, but the old one did not have crankshaft position sensor, then i use the old one (302).
Now i canīt use the lamp for set the ignition time, and the engine donīt run properly.
can I disconnect the sensor?
If some one can help me, i will be thankfull

this efi comes with maf sensor in air filter box, with no oxigen sensor (open loop)

You can't use a 302 harmonic balancer on a 351, I wouldn't think.

yes, you are right Chris 1, I can not use the harmonic b. the 302 is balanced at 50 oz and 351 is at 28 oz, the same with the flywheel. some body explain me that.
