Problem starting

I have a 1994 f150 xlt 5.8L and will only start with my foot slightly (or fully) on the gas and some times it will spuiter and one loud knock woll happen. What could it be, a sensor or full pressure? I need help

sounds repetitive but start with the IAC, could be stuck closed. you could pull it and clean it, or just smack it with a hammer
