Default 1996 5.8 EFI Performance Ideas

I just recently bought a 1996 F-150 centurion crew cab short bed. It has a 5.8 EFI and runs really strong. I want any and all ideas for upgrading the performance of the whole truck.

I am open to any suggestions. I will be doing this over time and eventually get into the motor. I do not want to spend an enormous amount of money at one time. The head cams would be a definite later down the road and an intake will need to go from stock. Which intake and cam do you think is the best?

One of the ford motorsports cams are pretty friendly for a daily driver and sound and perform well. Probably a b cam and a nice edelbrock performer efi intake would probably get you about 50 hp and only cost around $500.

So New cams and intake would be the best place to start. What are some good headers to use and best way to go for exhaust?
