Need help
I would first like to state that im 16 building one of my dream trucks
But ive ran into a couple issues that im not sure what to do about
i have a 1986 f-150 supercab lifted with a little 302
The motors been bored .40 over with a mild lift cam
I switched from EFI to a carb
I just dont know if i need to change anything else
Any help or idea will help very much

the truck has high volume fuel pumps in it by Edelbrock. But i planned on replacing them soon because the trucks been sitting 6 months with 2 half tanks of gas
I've done a EGR delete off the motor because the egr isn't nothing but crap
It shortens the life of the motor but recirculating exhaust through the motor
Ive also got a holly 650 i believe
Should i buy a carb spacer or no?
i also did a high volume water pump with a over sized radiator.
Ive got alot of extra little things to be done to the motor

spacer will add a little bit of cheap horsepower, be certain of hood/aircleaner clearance though.
check the manual for the carb you have, it will specify what psi it wants from the fuel pumps, i recently worked on a 390fe that got an edelbrock, stock carb was fine with the pressure it was getting but the new one kept flooding untill i checked, it was over 6psi when the carb shouldnt get more than 5.5 causing fuel to push past the needle
upgrade the ignition system while your there too
