So I've noticed on my motor (5.0) the stock intake is very restrictive and I feel as if I put a new cold air or snorkel on it there will be better air flow, anybody done this, notice anything?

From what ive heard, the "cold air intakes" are no bueno. Just put a KN filter in the airbox, cut a larger hole in the airbox, and maybe swap the 2 intake pipes with some radiator hose for smoother airflow. and grab a ram air scoop (that slides on the OEM intake) from a salvage yard. you could also port and polish your throttle bodies. the conical CAI filters are proven to let alot more dust as well as HOT air in, than the factory air box
