I have a very custom motor in my 1995 F-150. It ran okay with the 24lb injectors and the stock mass air meter. I recently purchased a Pro-M mass air meter calibrated for a 1995 F150 with 24lb injectors. It is the 75mm bullet mass air.

However when I installed it and tried to fire the truck up, the truck won't ever find an idle and just surges until it dies.

I followed the procedure for resetting the ECM memory as per the install instructions.

Does anyone else have any experience with this sort of thing?

Try unplugging the IAC and retrying.
