I have a 1993 f 150 5.0. I have been having some idling problems, or at least it seems like it. It will Rev itself up and down, and if I let go of the brake it'll move the truck like someone is hitting the gas, revs up and moves a couple inches, does this over and over, but its not everytime im idling, and by idling i mean sitting at a stop light. Sometimes it will die while doing this but it just starts right back up. Also a lot of the time when it's in reverse it will idle up and down too and almost die. If I tap the gas pretty quick and sudden that will also cause it to die. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you

Check vacuum hoses first. Then the IAC could be dirty
