Default PR vs. Modular NA street truck

What's a better NA engine, 351 B&S to 408-427 9.5-11:1 CR or a Modular big bore 5.4 4v with C heads, coyote intake and 11:1 compression?

I'm talking more about average power numbers because of where the truck & engine's DD'ing would spend most of its time.

Completely random question and I'm sure will have many biased answers.

My experience says Modulars are more trouble free but pushrods make more cheaper power.

The pushrod is smaller, much cheaper to build, much much cheaper to make power with, and doesn't require as much work with all the rewiring and sensors need for the modular.

How much work are you willing to do?
How much are you willing to spend?
How much power do you want to make?
Are you worried at all about gas mileage?
