Default Gas Tank - Can't fill it up 94 302

I am having an issue, every time I try and fill my Gas tank, the pump cuts off, I've tried different filling stations and they all do it. Its as though the tank cannot vent so the air is trapped and cutting off the flow, I have to trickle the gas in a bit at a time and keep removing the pump from the truck, its getting tiresome now, what should I check and how does the tank vent ?

its a single tank and the filler is in the rear drivers side part of the bed.

Thanks

There are 2 hoses one inside the other. The inner one is the size of that little hole you put the nozzle in - the gas goes in through that.
The air you're pushing out vents on the outside of that hose through the big hose you can see when you look underneath.
You'll see small vent holes all around the little hole you put the nozzle in.
So- either those are plugged (spiderwebs ?), the big hose is kinked or flattened, or (worst case) the small hose isn't there.
3 most likely things anyway.
