Default F150 engine swap

Hey everyone

So my 1993 f150 just went over 150,000 miles and with intensions of having the truck much longer I feel it's time to pull out my old tired out 302. I'm Just not sure what i want to put back in. I have done a little internet research and haven't had much luck on finding a relatively easy and cost efficient way to put some stronger new life under my hood. I'm looking out to the forums for any input on how to get this done. And done right. I'm very willing So shoot me some ideas on what I should do here.

Only 150k and you want to swap? I'm well over 270k and still going. If you're gonna do something why not just rebuild what you have? Most cost efficient way would be to find a donor truck with the engine you want so you can take the harness and pcm if you have to.

I would swap your truck intake on to the mustang motor for more low end power. Good time to put some full length headers on. Change your motor mounts, hoses and belts while your at it.
