Default Engine start issues, 89, 460 EFI

Have the engine swap done. 5.0 to 460 same year trucks wiring all matched up. switched the computers. have everything hooked up except the O2 sensor. engine will fire intermittently but not run. This engine sat on the shop floor for 5 years. Maybe fuel pressure issue? injectors? both? Just wondering where to start? hookup engine to programmer and check codes?
Also Now after I have everything installed I have a crack in the water pump housing. Isn't that nice!!! xxxx. I want to Get the engine running before I tackle that. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Default

Double check timing and firing order. Then fuel pressure. I'm not 100% on 460's but I believe all the V8's operate at 30 to 45 psi. You want to see more than 40 KOEO.
Timing, fuel and spark.

Default I've checked fuel pressure and timing, ect. Now What?

Today I got a fuel pressure gauge and it stayed at 40 psi, it leaked down to 36 after 5 minutes. but I had a slight leak at the fitting. I also removed passenger side valve cover to check TDC and its where its supposed to be. I can't check exact timing without it running. I checked the plug wiring order and my book has this order for the 5.0 and 7.5 15426378. It does fire on #6 got that figured out. My next recourse it to check spark at each cyl. I'm thinking it is the fuel injectors as this motor as sat in the shop for 5+ years, maybe 8. I've read a few other post with this type of issue, and the replys were to check all electrical with multi-meter. I don't have that manual, where and what small electrical do I check.
Thanks, for the help. I'll have this beast running yet.

Default Up date

Ok, so I spent some more time on the truck. fuel pressure is at 40 psi. I have spark at every plug. timing looks ok, it fires on #6. I swapped out the ECM from an 95 same issue's. I can hear the pulse on #6 and no pulse on one of the others. It's difficult with just a screw driver test. the o2 sensor is not connected. the donor truck was an 89 F350 8800 GVW. it replaced an 5.0 in an 89 F250 6800 GVW. I did read another post about what pins are powered in the different GVW ratings. Could this be the issue? I'm not sure if its the ECM pins or what? I can't figure out why it fires on #6 either.

This went into an 1989 also.
