Crate 302 Cam?
I got a hell of a deal on a 302 a while back and just getting ready to put it in. My question is, can I throw a mild cam in without replacing springs etc? If so, what do you recommend?

what crate 302????????????????? what mild cam?????????????? specs like what cam and what crate motor, there are many crate combinations and companies, cam specs gives spring requirements understand? what rpm do you plan on running?? If you dont understand this than just run it as is, but a spring upgrade like trick flow that makes them specifically for stock heads would be a good upgrade regardless.

It's a stock 302 from Napa.
I am just looking for a better cam that stock. That's my question. If I knew what cam to put in then I wouldn't be asking. Can you not take a stock 302 for a 95 F150 and put a better cam in it than what is in it now?
I do not want to mess with the heads. Is that possible? Yes or no
If no, then thanks for your help.
If yes, then what cam do recommend? Model/part number?

whats it going in a truck, a mustang what converter stall, if its a truck motor going into a stock truck don't touch it, and if its going into a speed density truck you can't change cam, you also didn't even mention is it a flat or roller cam? so how can we suggest a cam. but again stock springs are weak for almost any cam.
