Default BBK Shorty Headers

Hey there everyone,

I got a 1995 xlt w/ 302 and auto trans. I have the entire truck pulled apart and im on the engine right now. Ive been looking at headers and im really likeing the BBK shorty headers. PN-BBK3510 @ summit. I was wondering if anyone was running them and there pros and cons.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you are looking for the performance that headers can bring, shorties are near worthless. Use long headers instead.

Im looking for something reliable, besides stock manifolds. I understand the long tubes are better. And im not expecting miracles my truck has 195,xxx miles on it, but it runs strong. I was just wondering if anyone has had fitment issues, warping of the flange ect. Like the summit brand headers, which I want no parts of. Do they match up with the stock y pipe, which is brand new as well as the rest of my exhaust.

I had a set of bbks. They are bad to crack at the collector.
