I have a 94 f150 with the 351. It has new plugs wires cap ,fresh gas, clean throttle body and TPS new air filter, it has a 4 speed manual transmission swap. It used to be an auto. It starts and idles good, but when I push the gas it hesitates, revs, but then has no power. I can't pull a hill and can barely get up to 55. Also there is one spot about 1/8 of the way into the pedal that it runs great. But beyond that, it has no power almost like its misfiring or something. What could it be?

Check fuel pressure , if it has 2 tanks you can see if it only does it on one tank you may have a fuel pump bad

I'm getting 30 psi at idle. Is that right?

You should have 30-35 at idle , if you unhook the vacuum at the regulator it should go up to 45 .
What does it do when you give it gas ? does it go up or down ?

I might check ignition coil. My '95 5.8 would start normal and idle fine but once put in gear and under load it would seem to miss and sputter. Changed out the ignition coil and shes good as new (as new as an 18 y/o truck can be)
