93 5.0 v8 oil leak
I just recently bought a 1993 f150 4x4 with a 5.0L v8 engine. The oil pan gasket was the main leak in it, and the pan had a bad rust spot. In order to replace the pan and gasket I have to lift the engine up and I'm also replacing the front clip. As of now the front fenders are off and the engine is almost ready to be lifted. I'm going to put it on a stand, but I can't decide if I should rebuild the whole engine or just replace the oil pan and a few other simple parts. Does anyone have any advice to help me decide?

My only problem is that I'm 18 and still in highschool. I haven't had much to practice on but I'm trying to gain some experience before diesel school. How hard will a rebuild be without experience?

Oooo a Custom Title.
When I built my truck I didn't know anything. I barely knew how to do an oil change, but I did it. I took my time and if I didn't know I asked someone or googled it.
As long as you take your time, research and don't half *** it you would do fine.
