87 5.8 Carb Problems
I recently picked up an 87 f150 with the 5.8. When it is cold the choke doesn't work at all. I've checked for power at the choke and there is none. The fuse seems to be good. After it is warmed up it idles around 700 and almost dies at stop signs. Could these two issues be related? Is there something else that that power wire goes to that isn't getting power also?

I put a manual choke on my 66- 390 GTA and solved the choke, warm up fast idle problem.
