86 f150 302 no power or is it just me
ok im new at posting on this forum but ive had this truck for sometime i bought it for 700 i have done alot of little fixes the tranny 4speed most sensors full tune up a in tank pump and other small fixes but why no power i can floor it through the gears and it doesn't really put u in the seat its kinda slow then takes a bit to power nxt gear till it hits 3000rpm on some days it will put me in my seat no problem my buddy has a newer model with 302 looks pretty close but his has 5speed 4wheel drive ext cab camper shell full of drywall tools 194xxx puts my truck to shame badly he can churp the tires going into 4th gear ive been in it he says its a HO but ive been told they dont pull loads very well his can pull loads without a problem it looks bone stock except the 3in exhaust my fuel pressure is good timing has been at 12 now on 10 i can only figure 2 things ingition control module or its not getting enuff fuel when i floor it compression is good no codes except air pump because its been removed EGR i have put a thin metal gasket shaped blockoff plate in between the egr im tired of trying to find the problem it has been doing this since i got it

did tht did compression check fuel pressure full tune up even in tank pump not the frame high pressure seems fine on pressure check it acts like it just has no low end at all i can floor it and it acts like a 4cylinder just no go even when i rev the **** out of it and shift still boggs and no go its not high geared i do 2500 at 65 with bigger back tires before it was doing 2800 at 65 this is a off and on problem mostly on but when it finds its ***** it will put me in the seat if i got traction

im thinking timing issue maybe or not dumping enough fuel when i floor it idk it has glass packs with 2 1/4 pipe i replaced o2 sensor throttle position sensor knock sensor air intake temp sensor and some temp sensor for the computer i have a ignition control module havent changed yet i have changed map sensor no change spark plugs are good color so not rich not lean i dont know
