I have a 1994 f150 4x4 with a 5.0, the problem is there is a ticking sound, sounds like an exhaust leak/minor miss, Ive replaced all the vacuum lines, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, and ive checked for exhaust leaks and have found none. I have checked for codes and all it pulls up is cylinder 8 and an OD code, its really starting to bug me and the truck feels like its a lil under powered. thanks for any help yall can give me ahead of time.

I had a similar problem I think about a year ago...there is a thread on here somewhere about it and a video on YouTube...however it turned out to be a slight exhaust manifold leak where they bolt into the block. replaced all the bolts helped a lot...New gaskets would probably fix it. plan on doing that asking with headers when I do a full restore this year.
