i have a 460 in my truck bought used. ive been told its a car 460 not a truck 460. whats the difference if any. is one better than other. etc

Probably a different cam in a car engine at least.

Are you having problems? There are differences, but if you have your truck running now, and you're not having problems, Don't worry about it. You could give some more info about how you intend to use your truck, and what your end objectives are.
