Alright I bought a parts truck pulled the 351 out and all the accessorys. I have it broke down currently and wanted to start ordering some parts to rebuild my motor. From the reading I have done it sounds like heads and an intake are the first things to replace. I have looked at doing gt40s not quite sold on those, any other suggestions also do I replace upper and lower intake? I am looking to keep my build around 1500-2000$ I don't want anything crazy just a good solid truck motor that sounds good and doesn't lack power on and off the street. Around 300hp and 350 ft lb of torque should be plenty for my liking I believe. Any suggestions of forums to read or helpful advice would be much appreciated.
