302 revving up
I have a 1989 4 wheel drive with a 302 and a 4 speed manual. I have had it for about 6 months but only been driving it for about 2 months due to a motor swap out of a 88 Lincoln.
When I drive the truck it revs up when I am shifting. Anything lower than 3200 rpms and it revs up about 300-500 rpms every time I push in the clutch no matter how I drive it. I don't think it should do that but my buddy in his 88 150 said his does the same thing. Just wondering if that's how they are or if something is wrong.
