1996 5.0 Wont Start When Hot But Will Go Forever On First Start If Cold (HELP!)
I have a 96 F150 with a 302 that won't start when the engine is hot but if you don't shut it off after the first cold start it'll drive until you turn the key off without issue. The check engine light is currently on for a p0174 code (Bank 2 running lean). Very rarely will the truck start when hot but if it does it'll miss very badly and stall or miss and eventually even out. If you wait until the engine cools it'll start right up. Today I was stranded at NAPA when I bought throttle body cleaner and MAF sensor cleaner. Just for safety load tested the battery and it stayed well in the safe zone of a good battery but I still don't know what would cause this. Please help!
Background information
The truck was totaled last winter and put on a new frame from a donor truck, used the front clip of the donor truck, used the cab and bed of original truck, and it was all put together by a friend I payed to do it.
