Default 1992 Ford F150 v8 Issues

This First Picture is a between the oil pan and tranny fluid pan. Not exactly sure what it is but the metal bent back and what is was connected to is cracked. Any ideas what it is?

The next picture is what I think to be part of the Recirculating Ball Steering, not to sure what piece exactly. All 4 of them have been cracked and appear to be leaking. Is there a guide to replacing them or should I just take it to a Mechanic? And what is a good site to find the parts?

Really just looking for advice on both of the problems. Thanks for your time!

First picture I have no clue, it's too close for me personally to know.

The second picture looks like your tie rod ends, you can get replacement boots, or just keep greasing them as they are. Dirt will find its way in there and shorten the life of them.
