Default 1990 mustang 5.0 swap into 1995 f150

I am looking at getting and original owner 1990 mustang 5.0 motor. I want to know if I can swap it directly into my truck and have no problems. Or if I need to use my intake or other stuff. Will I need a different computer? My truck is efi, roller cam, 5.0 v8. I plan on putting long tube headers, and a deeper oil pan in the process of the swap. Any info would be great.

I'd use all the bolt on stuff from the truck, intake, truck oil pan, water pump/timing cover, accessory brackets.

Truck computer will be fine. Only difference is mustang cam is geared for higher rpm light weight car and might be little doggy in the truck at lower rpm's. But the mustang motor is same HO firing order and roller as the truck.

One small correction. The 90 F150 has a roller block, but is a flat tappet engine and uses the old 289 firing order, so the OP will have to change his firing order over to the Mustang firing order.

To the OP, you can simply just change the order of the spark plug wires. No other changes (such as injector wiring) is required.

The f150 is a 95, the mustang is a 90. Both HO firing order and roller motors.

Ok, I didn't see the truck year on the app. I thought he was saying a 90 truck.
