Hello I am looking for some help. I have a 79 f150 with a 302. I had a local machine shop build a 1971 460 that's pushing 886 horses. I am looking for a standard transmission that will fit and can be built to hold that amount of power.

I would think a built C6 would be the best for that truck. I don't see a manual holding up with that much HP.
