Default White smoke out if tailpipe.

On my 89 straight 6 coming out the tail pipe is smoke a light white smoke. Does this mean anything wrong? Is it normal? What's the fix?

How thick is the smoke? What does it small like? If it's a light smoke it could be oil because a small amount of oil burning can look more white than blue. If it's a thick white smoke you're burning coolant. If it's coolant it should have a light sweet smell to it.

sounds like some water condensed into your tailpipe, hot air hits it and poof white smoke for a brief moment or two. just keep an eye on your coolant levels if your really concerned, check it for buildup, maybe take it to a shop and have them test it for exhaust fumes real quick
